Most of Kind Regards happens by post. Now and then, we put the kettle on and do it in person: letter afternoons in libraries, card circles in community halls and one very good party a year.

The Big Post Day

Ways to gather.

Two hours, a long table and a pot of tea. Write to your pen pal or start a letter to someone new.

Letter afternoons

A morning of folding, stamping and decorating blank cards for writers who like something special.

Card circles

Classes write to a nearby care home, then meet their pen pals once a year, with plenty of adults present.

School visits

A table near the entrance, a box of envelopes and a volunteer to explain how it all works.

Library pop-ups

Once a year we gather every writer we can fit in a hall to say thank you, with cake.

The Big Post Day

Small afternoons for post readers and hosts, because the people behind the post deserve a biscuit too.
